Nada Yoga is the yoga of sound and vibration. Rooted in ancient yogic philosophy, this practice guides us from ahata nada (outer, audible sound) toward anahata nada (inner, subtle sound), gently drawing awareness inward to connect with our true nature. This 75-minute experience is grounding, meditative, and deeply nourishing for the nervous system. We begin by settling into the body through somatic techniques and gentle, mindful asana, allowing tension to unwind and awareness to deepen. Breathwork and pranayama help regulate the nervous system and open subtle channels, followed by chanting or vocal toning to awaken inner resonance. From here, you’ll be guided into meditation and a receptive sound journey featuring crystal singing bowls, chimes, gong, tuning forks, and spacious moments of silence—inviting rest, integration, and inner listening.
No prior experience is necessary. This class is open to all bodies and all levels, offering a space to slow down, tune in, and remember the wisdom within.
Each class will include a vegan dinner to be shared with friends and community after class.
The class will be taught in the Kundalini style developed by Yogi Bhajan, a teacher of Kundalini Yoga who combined traditional Kundalini practices with mantras from the Sikh tradition and brought this practice to the West. The Kundalini “kriyas” involve a specific sequence of postures, exercises, and breath practices that become more than the sum of their parts, and when combined, the benefits synergize and compound. Your experience may vary from an elevation of energy to positive inner changes and a nervous system reset.
Each class will include a vegan dinner to be shared with friends and community after class.
